About the WH-AT Adjustable Beam Trolley

British standards BS 13157:2004 + Al:2009 are met with the Hacketts Trolley clamp which is manufactured to BS EN 13155: 2003 + A2: 2009 Cranes safety – non-fixed load lifting attachments category.

The WH-AT is a great combination of a clamp and trolley, it is of a push travel design meaning that it is manually operated and so will require some physical effort. It is a robust piece of lifting equipment whilst being fairly light in weight making it easier to attach to a beam.

Because this trolley can be adjusted it can be made to fit a variety of beam sizes. There are 3 models within this range with 2, 3.2 & 6 tonne capacities. The smaller 2 can be adjusted to fit beam widths between 76mm and 203mm whilst the largest model fits beams between 100mm and 305mm.

Adjustments are made by turning the centre bar which is also fitted with a locking mechanism to prevent it coming loose during use.

These trolleys also benefit from being able to travel around gentle curves.

The trolley wheels are fitted with a guard with anti-drop plates. Precision ball bearings in the wheels enable smooth and easy movement across the beam.

The clamp type bottom fitting incorporates a large pivoting shackle which makes the fitting of slings etc. easy. You must make sure the shackle is vertical and in line with the centre of gravity when moving a load. Side pulling is not permitted and may cause the trolley to dislodge from the beam.
